#13 WORK AND CAREER

Hello!

Welcome to the blog of PRECIOUS ANGELS SOLUTIONS!

Today, Wednesday April 5, 2023 I'm talking about ′′ Work and Career′′ in which I tell more about working as an employee and manifesting your ideal job!

♥ Much love and success on your path ♥

Love, light & peace,
Petra

Hello, I'm Petra from Precious Angels Solutions and welcome to my blog.

I am a manifestation & motivation coach and I help individuals and entrepreneurs manifest their ideas, their wishes, their dreams, by mastering the art of manifestation in their daily life!

Today is Wednesday and as promised I'm going to talk about the theme of “work and career”.

Perhaps in the future I will subdivide these 2 into work as an employee or laborer and work in the sense of your career as an independent entrepreneur.

But today I will talk about work as a servant or laborer. Work as an employee. I myself have worked as an employee for more than 25 years, but due to circumstances and because I eventually did not want to do it anymore, I started working as a self-employed person, first started as a secondary occupation and then became independent as my main occupation, until now.

Do you work as a servant or labourer? Or are you self-employed?

What would you most like to do from work? Working for a boss as a wage earner with all its advantages and disadvantages or would you rather work as a self-employed person with its advantages and disadvantages?

Is your job something you "have to" do? It has to be because money and food have to be put on the table?

Is your work perhaps something that was imposed on you by your parents?

In my case there was something of coercion and fear, fear that I mainly inherited from my mother, because there was never enough. Scarcity. Poverty. As a housewife, with 4 children, we always had to make ends meet and there was never an abundance. So it was ingrained in my whole being that I didn't want to go through this, that I didn't want to be dependent on a man, so I went to work, full time. Because it 'had to' of me especially. Because I wanted to make money myself, good money. To never be short of anything. To always be able to buy what was needed and what I and we wanted.

And even though I was unhappy at work, especially in recent years, I couldn't let it go. But I also had no energy left to look for anything else. It just ran out. Exhausted. Also worked too hard to get the approval of a boss who rules with an iron hand, so approval. It ruled, so you had to work in a regime of fear, where no one dared to speak up. Impossible. Can't believe I've lasted this long. But a conflict with a colleague finally put an end to it. Then I got fired. My way out turned out later. Stayed at home for a year, miserable, crying and sleeping on the couch first. But then gradually gaining hope and courage and starting to look for what I did want to do, because I knew very well what I didn't want anymore. Being barked at or snubbed by an authoritarian full of himself 'someone'. Who is now 'no one' in my eyes. I worked there for 21 years. That was more than enough! Enough was enough.

And at some point when I was sitting at home, I knew it: I will be my own boss. I never want to have a boss or mistress again in my life.

But I do understand that many people in paid employment find this more comfortable, receive a fixed salary every month, people who do have good colleagues and bosses.

Maybe if I had worked in a more harmonious office I would have persevered as an employee.

But maybe not, who knows. What I now find fantastic about being 'independent' is that I can determine and organize my own agenda and work the way I want it, doing what I like to do.

With my story I hope to inspire people and make them think about their work.

Are you sitting there in your place? Do you like doing your job? Do you have enough or not enough autonomy? Are you allowed to organize your work and day yourself or do you like everything to be clearly structured and recorded?

Are you happy that everything is taken care of for you and that you don't have to worry about running the business? Do you like a 9 to 5 job, for example, so that you know when you start and stop working?

How much comfort does this give you, knowing that your fixed salary will be paid at the end of the month? That everything is arranged and that you only have to listen to your boss, carry out your work and go home on time in the evening?

But how many of you do all this on autopilot, without much passion, just because you 'have to', out of fear, because food has to be put on the table, because money 'should' come in, hating your job, but just performing , because it 'cannot be otherwise''?

Unknowingly letting your life pass you by, without much fun, spending 8 hours a day at work, hoping the day will be over soon?

Bon, I really don't want to make you feel bad with this, I just want to wake you up to live your dream life and do a job that you really enjoy doing.

Of course you can't ask for the impossible, like for example I want to become a lawyer, but if you haven't done any studies for this, then of course it won't work.

But what if you've always wanted to be, I'm just saying, a kindergarten teacher, or wanted to do an administrative job, but you didn't because you didn't do the right studies for it?

And why wouldn't you still be able to do this? There are SO MANY opportunities to further your education these days, so many options, so many different courses you can do and find on the internet, free or paid.

Did you know, for example, I thought it was in Sweden, or was it Norway or Denmark, well in one of these northern countries people just change jobs every so often. They really change jobs. They just do something completely different.

That seems like a challenge to me and I think they just have the feeling that they 'live' and can organize their lives the way they want at that moment.

But with us, here in Belgium and probably also in many other countries… how many people are going to study something that they really don't want at all? Often to please their parents or because their parents told them to? To continue the family business perhaps?

Because the parents pay or have paid for your studies? After all, you can't disappoint them now, can you? All these costs they paid for your studies? You promised them to give their money's worth, because they wanted their son or daughter to be successful, with a good, well-paid job, so that you don't have to suffer as much as they used to.

But hello, that was their path, their way. Not yours. They are only projecting their fears onto you!

So yes, do what you feel like doing, do the work YOU would like to do. Or experiment, study, study something else, put it into practice and see if it's for you. And if it's not for you, then you go for something else? As long as it makes you happy! If you like it! So that a day is no longer a long grind and that you should be happy that the day is finally over.

Because then you're going to say, I've never really lived and then you'll regret, regret when it's too late. If you can no longer 'change' (job).

So, what job are you 'taking on'? What would you like to do from job? Take a look around, there are SO MANY options.

And once you've decided, I'd like to work here or there, at that firm, at that boss.

Then try to get it as clear as possible what you really want. Do you want a day job or a shift job? A night job? Do you want to work part-time or full-time? As an employee or as a self-employed person?

Work is enough! Only people often don't know what they want and then they just aim with an arrow, with a bow and arrow and write to different companies with the result that it doesn't work anywhere.

Because they don't go for the one! That one company you really want to work for. That kind of work you want to do.

Or many young people who are tired of school and who have to look for a job out of necessity, then they just take what they can 'get' or what they think they can get. A job at McDonalds or as a cleaning assistant, for example. Which is not to say that these jobs are too few or not good. No, if you really want this and enjoy your cleaning job or at McDonalds and you feel good about yourself and you really enjoy doing the job and you enjoy serving people or dealing with people, having fun have with your colleagues, then you are in the right place!

But if you do it just because you have to or because money has to come in, your job will be or become a grind.

Of course, with a positive mindset you can make something fun out of every job, if you really have or see no other choice. As long as you have fun at work. Then your working day is over in no time! And then you can always study something else in the evening, I'm just saying something.

What I am convinced is that there is enough work and that those who really want to work will find work!

And how nice is it when you have a job, that you get a salary. That you get satisfaction from your work. That you enjoy going to work, have a nice working day.

Bon, if I were to apply my 6 points of the manifestation process to finding a nice job, then I would clearly outline what I would like in point 1: for example, I would like to have a nice full-time job as a servant, with which I have enough earn to live on and pay all the bills. A job with great colleagues, where there is a nice atmosphere, in Antwerp, a job where I can easily use public transport or the bicycle.

point 2: Believe that you can and can really receive it: because I have worked out everything clearly and in detail and am very motivated and do everything I can to get a job like this, I firmly believe that I will find work.

point 3: Trust that it will come: I trust that I will succeed in this within a few weeks.

point 4: Feeling and imagining as if it is already there: I can already see myself working at a desk with very nice colleagues and work that I enjoy doing, so that time flies by. That feels really good.

point 5: Asking the Universe: Universe, I have a great feeling.

and point 6: Letting go and leaving the how to the Universe: I let go of my wish and leave the HOW to the Universe, taking inspiring and persevering action.

Voila, those were again the 6 points of my manifestation process about manifesting a nice job.

Fill it in for you personally with the things you would like!

Have a nice day and next time I will talk about the theme of 'money' again.
Bye!

Lots of love and good luck on your path

Love, light & peace,
Petra
