Larimar gives spiritual and spiritual strength. It helps you take control of your life and deal with change. It provides inner peace, clarity and balance and counteracts self-destructive behavior and a victim attitude.
The stone helps with anxiety, stress, guilt and extreme emotions (and therefore also for bipolar disorders) and helps to break through blockages. The stone encourages action but also encourages to let things take their course if necessary. Larimar promotes deep meditation and helps connect with guides and angels.
Physically, the stone stimulates the self-healing ability of the body, has an analgesic effect and helps with problems of the lungs, throat, chest, heart and cartilage.
Larimar is very sensitive to light and loses its blue color because of this. It is therefore better not to charge this stone with sunlight. Larimar should also not be cleaned with water.
Larimar can be worn on or near the body for an extended period of time.
The stone can be placed on a chakra to remove blockages.
During a meditation larimar can be placed on the solar plexus, chest or forehead.
Larimar is named after the daughter of the discoverer of the stone, Miguel Méndez, Larissa and the Spanish word mar (= sea).
The main site of larimar is Los Chupaderos in the southwest of the Dominican Republic.
